WOCS Operators
ADVANTEC provides experienced WOCS operators for integration into the operations teams of the subsea contractor.
Our personnel have experience from operation of WOCS systems supplied by a range of vendors. WOCS operators are available as replacement personnel, or participating in regular offshore rotation. The personnel are well acquainted with many generations of WOCS Systems, ranging from standards HPU type “push-button and lamp” units, and up to systems with PC-based HMI Screen interface, and fully electronic (PLC based) control systems designed in meet the new IEC 61508 (with SIL compliance) and ISO 13628 series of standards.
System Upgrading & Retrofit
ADVANTEC performs system upgrading and retrofitting of WOCS systems, to meet new operational requirements or regulations. Major upgrading and retrofit projects have been performed after de-commissioning of subsea oil & gas fields, and upgrading of systems for use on new locations.
Projects include engineering and design, hardware and software upgrading, and establishing of new operational documentation and procedures.
Repair of damaged components
ADVANTEC has long experience from, and established workshop and procedures for service, repair and re-calibration/re-certification of components. This includes;

Periodic Maintenance & Re-calibration
ADVANTEC provides services involved in periodic maintenance and re-calibration of WOCS Systems, to meet the new NORSOK Z-015 standard (Rev 3). This includes logging and full documentation of service activities, and evaluation of system performance.
Documentation
ADVANTEC maintains a system of documentation of activities, ranging from engineering, design and fabrication, to testing, periodic maintenance and re-calibration.
For WOCS Systems that are designed and built to comply with SIL requirements (IEC 61508), a method for Life-Cycle documentation and management is established. This includes Management and Validation activities of Safety Related Software, according to IEC
