The ADVANTEC WOCS is a new generation Workover Control System, for installation of subsea X-mas trees, tubing hangers and downhole completion, and for work-over intervention of subsea wells.
ADVANTEC performs system integration and supply of all system modules in a WOCS system, including
- 25 ft WOCS Container, with MCP Section and HPU section
- Main Umbilical’s and Jumper Umbilical’s with MQC plates
- Air Driven Reels and Certified Sheaves
- Dirty Return System and Baskets
- LCP (Local Control Panel) and Local ESD Panels
The ADVANTEC WOCS is fully screen-based, where system monitoring and all remote operations are performed from large PC screens in the MCP (Main Control Panel) or the LCP in the Driller’s Cabin.

Configurable for multi field campaigns
The ADVANTEC WOCS can be equipped with 40 remotely controlled hydraulic output lines, and electrical communication lines for interface with subsea production control modules, and various topside systems. The system allows selection of operational mode from the MCP screen. The WOCS can be configured for multi-field campaigns, without internal modification of the WOCS hydraulics, or electronics.
Complies with new standards and requirements
The ADVANTEC WOCS is designed to comply with the latest international and national standards, including
- ISO 13628 – Design & operation of Subsea prod. systems
- IEC 61508, IEC 61511 and OLF RP 070, regarding safety-related systems
- NORSOK standards
Complies with relevant SIL requirements (Safety Integrity Level) for shutdown functions.
HPU section for HP and LP applications
The HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit) section is designed for HP (High Pressure) and LP (Low Pressure) lines.
Personnel for WOCS Operation and Service
ADVANTEC provides experienced WOCS operators for assistance in offshore installation and work-over operations. Maintenance and service personnel are available for mobilisation around-the-world. This includes periodic maintenance and recalibration of instruments and PSVs (Pressure Safety Valves).
