Non-intrusive Water Fraction Monitoring
Technical description
The SeCaP™ technology is based on an electronic oscillator that is influenced by the dielectric constant of the media surrounding it, i.e. the frequency of the oscillator varies with the change of the dielectric constant in the media. The oscillator and media are isolated by a ceramic wall with the oscillator calibrated to correct for all static parts.
The product portfolio of Sentech water fraction monitors utilizes Sentech’s SeCaP™ technology. Each individual instrument is calibrated for each application, with a dedicated software package that is taking all necessary adjustments and compensations into consideration.
The output signal is then transformed into a client preferred signal.
Typical accuracy and sensitivity levels are ranging from 0.01 % to 0.1 % depending on application.
The instrument is preferably installed vertically in the piping system and fitted between two standard flanges. This makes it extremely easy to retrofit and install. The bore is equal to the piping, ensuring a 100% “non intrusive” design with no structural changes to the piping system.
The monitor comes with a software package and controller module that usually is installed in a cabinet in safe area.
